Skill Set Required


Electronic Marketer. Marketing of Workshops and events with flyers and Constant Contact mass emails. Have to be able to attend one annual conference. All expenses paid.


Constant Contact training will be provided. Previous experience in designing flyers will be a plus, but not required. FB skills would be awesome but not required.


Workshop Coordinator. Find speakers and educators for Small Business Owners. Have to be able to attend one annual conference. All expenses paid.


Great communication skills, great at networking and doing research. Can think outside the box.  Not shy at asking.


Event coordinator. Coordinate workshop dates, book venues, arrange refreshments and oversee registration of attendees.


Requires flexibility in hours. Requires some office time. Workshops can be during office hours but also early evening.


Roundtable facilitator. Attend meetings once a week. Provide agenda. Arrange next meetings. Arrange special speakers or mentoring when required.


Have an understanding of business challenges and what it takes to be successful. Great communication skills, great at networking and doing research.


Mentors for start-ups and Small Business Owners. Provide confidential and for free mentoring. You can guide a person through the whole business growth aspect, or you can participate in one of the business areas that you have experience in.


Business experience. Any aspect of business. Accounting/budget/cash flow or business plans, or start-up procedures. HR. Marketing. Farming. Legal. Manufacturing. Retail. Non-profits. Any business experience. And a passion to help Entrepreneurs.


Recruiting and Marketing Agents for SCORE. Visit the service clubs, banks, attorneys and big corporations. Educate the public about SCORE. Get others to join as Volunteers. Have to be able to attend one annual conference. All expenses paid.

Whatever you can give

Public Speaking skills. Social Butterfly. Great at networking. Love talking passionately about SCORE’s cause.


Treasurer. Handle small accounting tasks. Successor for existing Treasurer that wants to retire the end of 2018.


Accounting experience. Accept invoices, pay claims, keep QuickBooks up to date. Provide monthly reports.


Co-Chapter Chair. Leadership and coordination experience. Have to be able to go to 2 annual conferences. All expenses paid. Successor for existing Chapter Chair that will step down end of 2018.


Great communication skills. Have an appreciation for Volunteers and what they do. Coordinate, follow-up, support and appreciate.


Co – Administrator. Assist existing Administrator. Answer voice message, email and online requests. Book appointments – match mentorship requests with mentorship skills. Fill out online documents. Provide monthly reports.


Electronic Calendar. Training for all software will be provided. Some office time required. Replenish office supplies, marketing material, folders, workshop supplies, name tags, business cards, etc


 New Recruit Onboarding Coordinator. From welcome to congratulations, guide the new recruits through the to-do list of the onboarding process.


Learn SCORE software well. Know your contacts at SCORE helpdesk. Provide support and answer new recruit questions. Some office time required.

For all people considering the above roles. You have to:

Join SCORE as a Volunteer and do about 3 hours total of online training and orientation.

Get along with other Volunteers and different Chamber members.

Work independently and in a group; be reliable and have integrity.

Have computer skills and be comfortable with Microsoft Office. If you have a phone and a computer, you can do most of your work from home or from your office.

Attend monthly Volunteer meetings.

Love giving back to your community.
